Who are we?
We are versatile musicians capable of performing with different arrangements, electric, acoustic, full band, trio, etc. to provide an uplifting vibe to any venue, space or event.
We are that, we are. We are here to spread Love through the medium of Music. Our guiding principal is to take the ego out of music and unite people with Rhythm and Harmony - the Musician's tools. We respect all people, their cultures and the many different genres of music. Rooted in that respect and gratitude we merge all of our influences and inspirations in many different sounds. We are hard to categorize within the concept of a genre. One thing for sure you will find plenty of rhythm, improvising and poetry in our music drawing from Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Reggae, Folk and Country. Much Love to all of the musicians who made it possible for us to be who we are.
Our Roots
I have had the hone of playing together over the past 25 years in a variety of different combinations and Many Names Band is all about bringing together a family of Mad City Musicians to form a platform to record and perform original music written from the Soul by local artist, me, Multi-D in collaboration with the Many Names of high vibe musicians on the scene.
I've played with a number of bands since starting out with the Green Situation and then Groovulous Glove, including Logarhythm, Vibe Syndicate, Full Watts, Mud Room, Dane County Cologne and more. Through those experiences I've had the opportunity to collaborate with many great musicians in the area. MNB is a venture to bring together these fine talents into a new plethora of songs, melodies, jams and rhythm to deliver a fun uplifting experience to the Madison Music Scene.

Mad City Songwriters
We love to play a cover or two in our sets but we are primarily focused on songwriting and performing original songs (with NO AI!!!). We have a long list of covers we've all played and happy to deliver a set of covers for any occasion you may have. That said my heart is in creation and making new music that never existed before. I have written many songs in previous acts but this is all FRESH! We continue to write with a focus around making connections. Meaning our songs are written to create a bond with the listener whether through the lyrics, the melody, the rhythm or the sheer power behind the song. Thus far our originals have been well received and we look forward to making a special event for you when you book us. If you would like a special song just let me know. We can play a cover or better yet write a new song for your special occasion!
